Our Story
Where It All Began
Growing up in Vietnam I (Chef Do) gained a real love for cooking. It was mostly because of my mother. She cooked a lot! Whenever I got home, whatever I’d like to eat, she’d cook for me.
Mom is a good chef, and she showed me step by step how to cook. She is my greatest influence!

I obtained other degrees for jobs that would pay me really well, but I still loved cooking, so . . .
I left my other endeavors to follow my heart, and after a long while working as a chef in other restaurants, the time finally came to open my own!
You & I Kitchen is personal. This is where I get to share what I love with my customers.

Just tried this place for the first time. Some of the best Pho we have ever had. The owner is really nice and incredibly humble. Don’t know if I’ve ever been to another place that serves pho and not only can you see them in the kitchen but you get to speak to the owner that is passionate about his business. Amazing taste!
Amazing taste of Pho and roll!! I believe they didn’t add any artificial ingredients when they make the broth for the noodle. The quality of shrimp was fantastic. The wonderful thing I love is they have open kitchen. Besides, the kitchen looks very clean. I felt very comfortable I can bring my kiddos.

Me and my girlfriend go here all the time. The Pho is the best in Salt Lake, along with their fried rice dishes and desserts. The service is great and the owner really cares about the quality of the food and the dining experience. He even knows us by name! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants to enjoy a fantastic meal.
